Tile, tile, and more tile

I spent the day yesterday "laying" the back wall of the bath tub surround, and it is looking so good. I have a good imagination for place but I am always surprised by the reality. I have the next two days to finish the initial laying of the tub surround -- I still have no decided on grout color. Some sort of gray but I am not sure of the exact shade. How much do I want the tile to stand out or become solid white. Actually, the room is too small for anything to fade into a background.

I should have posted pictures of the before, but I'll take some today for a "during."

When I tell people that I am tiling, I get a lot of respect. Much too much. It is not hard, exacting and slow, but not hard. As I was laying my very simple walls, I really wanted to do a more creative job tiling. The reason for tiling white on white and so simple was to get the bathroom to a point where we could sell this house. Not sure if that is what we want to do but the neutrality of the bathroom would not cramp anyone's style. There is enough wall to embellish or change a style, even <> wall paper.
