Floor

I ordered the bathroom floor today. Ten days to two weeks.

Bathroom renovation

When we moved in July of 2007, we had big plans to renovate the bathroom and the kitchen immediately, but the reality of a job market that I could not crack and Julia's needs stood between our big plans and the realization of those plans.

This spring we are working on the bathroom -- new tub and sink, and a tile floor and shower surround. Benjamin Plumbing is doing the instillation of the sink and tub, and all the plumbing. I am doing the tiling. I ordered the floor tile yesterday.

I stumbled upon the book, Not so Big House, and found the ideas and suggestions tht I have been looking for for a long, long time. I have a notebook that I stuff with ideas and notes, but so many times the ideas are on websites and I never copy them down. And so, a house blog.
